Airport Transport

Cape Town International Airport

The airport opened in 1954.  Originally named as D.F. Malan Airport.  In 1990 the name was changed to Cape Town Airport.   Cape Town Airport was extensively expanded and renovated in 2010

There are two terminals linked by a central terminal which handles all check-ins after which passengers split into domestic and international. Most of the facilities such as banks, shops and restaurants are available here. The International terminal has these facilities plus duty-free shops, to enjoy some retail therapy.
