Airport Transport
The Airport Link is an underground rail line which operates between 2 stations. This being the Domestic Airport station and the International Airport station connect passengers. The trains are privately owned and usage carries a surcharge. Local suburban trains do run to and from the airport and into the town centre. There are several road links from the airport with the M1 or Southern Cross Drive being the fastest link to the city centre.
Due to the proximity to the city, there are also pedestrian and cycle paths linking to the city centre.
Sydney Airport
This airport is one of the world’s longest continually operational airports with regular flights beginning in 1924. The original Airport was known as Mascot Aerodrome, in 1936 the Airport was renamed to Sydney Airport. The runway divides the two passenger terminals. A coach transfers passengers between the International and Domestic Terminals.

A number of international carriers have lounges including Qantas, Etihad and Emirates Airlines. Terminals two and three are solely for domestic flights. Terminal three boasting a Qantas Club lounge and a Business Class lounge.
